The Swamp Parrot is one of only four ground dwelling parrots in the world & we are fortunate to have the Swamp Parrot dwelling along the Eastern Coast of Australia and Central Tasmania. They are elusive and shy and considered a vulnerable species. Their plumage is bright green-yellow with dark spots and a dash of red on the lower forehead. This colourway seems to have a luminous quality which is hard to capture on camera.
