"Petrichor" that delicious smell of the newly watered earth after rain. I remember as a child of 6 or 7 years thinking it smelled so good it must taste good too. I dipped my finger in some damp dusty earth and tasted... it was very disappointing. To this day I love that aroma, though I'm not about to taste test again.
