The Storybook collection is inspired by the beautiful illustrations of Children's book author Shirley Barber. My Daughter Amanda collected these books and even had me decorate her bedroom in fairy stencils inspired by them.
"Spellbound" is a fairy romance of sorts. To tell the truth when I re-read it while creating these colours, I winced. But Shirley Barber books are all about the pictures, arent they? The scene on the inside of the cover was the inspiration for "Sprout". Predominantly soft shades of fresh new green with fine speckles of gold, deep blue-purple, mauve and darker green.

Characteristics: A soft and lofty yarn sourced from our local mill in Nundle. Good for those quick projects that require warmth for those wintery days. Soft against the skin.
Use: Great for sweaters or beanies or anything requiring a 10 or 12 ply aran or worsted weight yarn.
We do recommend all our quality yarns be hand washed by gently soaking, put in a bag and dry spin on medium then lay flat to dry in shade.
