PURPLE CROWNED FAIRY WREN is inspired by its namesake found in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and the Victorian River region of the Northern Territory. These are the only Fairy Wren who are monogamous, partnering for life with each other. Our little bird has similar colouring to his female but during mating season he develops a striking purple crown edged in black and a bright blue tail. This colourway
